Program Notes from August 1, 2004 Meeting of LKWA

This meeting was a picnic at Linn Duesterbeck's home. It convened at 1:00 pm and there were over 40 attendees. In addition to good food and drink, there was a tour of Linn's wetlands where we viewed many nesting boxes for ducks. We also toured his prairie restorations. A highlight was to see an osprey flying overhead. Susan Yates provided tours on her pontoon boat.

A resolution was passed to give Rick Persson the authority on behalf of LKWA to administer and receive funds for our new River Protection Grant.
