Program Notes from 5/23/06 Meeting

Rick Persson, Chairman, called the meeting to order at 6:05 pm. There were 12 persons in attendance.
The minutes of April 25, 2006 as Emailed were approved.
Those present were reminded of the upcoming annual picnic on Sunday, July 23. The picnic will be at the Shackelford’s. We will have a pig roast and everyone will bring a dish to pass.
August: no meeting
The business meeting adjourned at 6:20 pm.
A DVD called “The Case of the Disappearing Ducks” was shown. It is about the environmental effects of rising water on the Mississippi. It was very educational, showing the impacts on vegetation, wildlife and water quality. Anyone interested in seeing this can call Rick.
