Carcajou Hunt Club
Our August meeting was a picnic at the Carcajou Hunt Club. We enjoyed a break in the rain, a pig roast, and many delicious dishes to pass. We relaxed on the screened porch, perused old hunting boats on display, walked around the new prairie planting on the Yates and Persson property next door, and inspected the osprey platform. We enjoyed great conversation and talked about the history of the hunt club and clubhouse dating to the late 1800s.
In all, 54 members, friends and family had a great afternoon!
